Utah Watercolor Society (UWS) is a non-profit organization and cooperative association that has been promoting watercolor art since its founding in 1974. As an IRS 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, UWS is dedicated to advancing the art of painting watercolors. They achieve this through the organization of annual watercolor exhibitions and the promotion of watermedia art in Utah.

UWS defines watercolors as paintings created using transparent and/or opaque water media, or unvarnished water-soluble media on paper. UWS is a member society of the Western Federation of Watercolor Societies (WFWS) and holds monthly meetings featuring skilled artists who demonstrate their techniques and share their knowledge. These meetings, usually held on the first Tuesday of each month, are open to all. UWS membership brings additional benefits, including demonstrations by renowned artists, monthly paint-outs, and a journaling group.
