UTA Karate Manchester is a martial arts center in Manchester, Pennsylvania, serving students across York County. Part of the United Tang Soo Do Alliance, the school combines the Korean art of Tang Soo Do with elements of Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido, Modern Arnis, and other fighting disciplines. Its evolving curriculum pairs structured training with long- and short-term goals in a fun, disciplined learning environment.
Classes are available for preschoolers ages 3½ to 5, children ages 6 to 13, adults ages 14 and older, and families with students ages 6 and up. Training is intended to help students build respect, concentration, perseverance, self-confidence, and physical health. The school is led by founder Grand Master George Klinedinst, who began martial arts training in York in 1981 and has taught at his Manchester studio since 1995.
His experience includes Tang Soo Do, Modern Arnis, Small Circle Jujitsu, Hai Dong Gumdo, and Hapkido, with particular interests in self-defense and weapons training. UTA Karate also offers introductory enrollment promotions and private lesson scheduling
