About • UTENA 765
Utena City Festival is a three-day annual celebration bringing together residents, returning Utenians and visitors to mark the city’s history and community spirit. The 2026 edition celebrates Utena’s 765th anniversary and is scheduled for August 27–29. Presented as a festival rather than a single event, it offers a varied program designed to help people discover the city through music, sport, culture, food and shared stories.
The festival features concerts by Lithuanian performers and groups, including Rokas Yan, The Roop, Žemaitukai, Justinas Jarutis, Egidijus Sipavičius, Adrina, Augustė, Siela and Bielskis, with television and event host Rolandas Mackevičius also featured. Alongside live entertainment, visitors can expect sporting activities, cultural experiences, food discoveries, a fair and opportunities to connect with others. The celebration also invites people to share personal memories and experiences linked to Utena, highlighting the many generations and stories that shape the city.
