Ut Kabinet der Zotheid

Ut Kabinet der Zotheid is a carnival museum in Oosterhout, dedicated to preserving and presenting the history of Kaaiendonk’s carnival traditions. Its collection brings together distinctive carnival-related historical objects, displayed in cabinets and gathered through gifts from the local community. Visitors can explore items including badges, clothing, material from associations, pins, older publications and other carnival curiosities. The museum offers an online preview of the collection, while an in-person visit provides an opportunity to discover more and enjoy the displays.

Admission is free. The museum is open on Fridays from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to noon; it is closed Monday through Thursday and Sunday. Visits outside these hours can be arranged by appointment. The museum welcomes people who would like to look around and is continually seeking new objects to make its collection as complete as possible.
