United Voices of the World (UVW) is a grassroots trade union dedicated to empowering low-paid, migrant, and precarious workers. We advocate for dignity, equality, and respect through direct action on the streets and legal channels. Our member-led organization supports the most vulnerable groups of workers, including those in cleaning, security, catering, portering, hospitality, retail, construction, healthcare, and various other professions.

At UVW, we challenge outsourcing practices that create a racially segregated, two-tiered workforce and diminish workers' rights and unions. We stand for fair wages, full sick pay, and respect for all members, demanding at least the London Living Wage. With 5000 members representing over 100 nationalities in 6 sectors, we have undertaken 53 campaigns in 50 different languages. Furthermore, our solidarity network provides training and support to members.
