UWIDEF, short for the UWI Development & Endowment Fund, is a charitable organization dedicated to advancing the University of the West Indies, Mona, and the communities it serves. With a mission to unlock the potential of the West Indies, UWIDEF provides support in various areas of education. This includes scholarships, student welfare, health initiatives, infrastructure development, and research.
Founded in 1990, UWIDEF acts as a bridge, connecting the University with the wider community.
