About United Way Trinidad & Tobago
United Way Trinidad & Tobago is a social impact organization dedicated to protecting vulnerable communities and bringing people together for a greater collective impact. With our commitment to the national Vision 2030 Theme of Put People First, we prioritize areas such as education, family wellbeing, equity, and disaster resilience. In our efforts to make a difference, we have accomplished significant projects, including completing 48 projects in collaboration with 10 working partnerships and 1,730 Care Ambassadors.
We have served 27 primary and secondary schools, 16 homes for children and the elderly, and 5 communities, benefiting a total of 13,588 individuals across Trinidad & Tobago. Additionally, we offer various support programs, such as Family Cash Grants and ventilation models for schools. Through partnerships with schools and NGOs, we identify families in need and provide them with essential support.
