Vessels for Development (V4Dev) is a non-profit organization founded in 2017 with a mission to improve the lives of women, girls, and young people in Africa. They also extend their assistance to disadvantaged groups, focusing on social causes, education, entrepreneurship, rights advocacy, and volunteerism. Recognized and authorized in Cameroon, V4Dev is dedicated to building a better world for the less privileged in Africa.

Their vision and missions revolve around significantly enhancing the living conditions of women, girls, and young people, promoting their rights, and ensuring youth development through improved communication. In line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), V4Dev prioritizes areas such as poverty reduction, health and well-being, quality education, gender equality, peace and justice, strong institutions, and economic growth.

The V4Dev team consists of passionate individuals from diverse backgrounds, united by their dedication to development and making a substantial impact. Through their initiatives, V4Dev conducts workshops and provides resources on topics like menstrual hygiene inclusion, benefiting both internally displaced persons (IDPs) and people with disabilities.

To support their work, V4Dev draws upon well-founded evidence and produces informative reports. They have offices in Yaounde and Nkongsamba, Cameroon, and operate through programs focusing on women and girls, young people, and communication for development. In their commitment to making a positive difference, Vessels for Development strives to create a more inclusive and prosperous Africa.
