The Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency (VACCA) is a state-wide Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation (ACCO) dedicated to serving children, young people, families, and community members. As the largest organization of its kind in Australia, VACCA has been protecting and promoting the rights of Aboriginal children and families for over 40 years. Under the visionary leadership of CEO Adjunct Professor Muriel Bamblett, VACCA has achieved remarkable results.

With a strong focus on connecting children in out-of-home care to their culture, VACCA has seen a significant reduction in negative outcomes such as juvenile justice involvement, substance abuse, and suicide.
