Vadeia Capoeira

Vadeia Capoeira offers capoeira classes in Le Perreux-sur-Marne and Fontenay-sous-Bois, with registration open throughout the year and trial lessons available. Led by Ganga Zumba of Grupo Capoeira Sul da Bahia, the program is shaped by more than two decades of personal practice and 18 years of teaching. Classes welcome children and adults, including beginners, and are designed to progress through structured, adaptable training.

Capoeira combines physical movement with music, rhythm, singing, and cultural learning. Participants practise techniques and play instruments, learn Portuguese songs, and come together in the roda. Sessions support fitness, strength, flexibility, confidence, stress relief, and social connection, while encouraging cooperation and respect. Teaching is adapted to participants’ ages and abilities, with a supportive atmosphere and varied exercises. The school also offers instruction through workshops, courses, seminars, and online formats, as described by the instructor’s teaching experience. Families and adult students praise the patient guidance, welcoming group spirit, and balanced focus on movement, music, and shared progress.
