VaeV

VaeV is an active training and coaching brand based in Alkmaar, offering hands-on team-building sessions and sword-fighting activities for individuals, groups and organisations. Its approach focuses on learning through action rather than theory, using movement and shared challenges to explore communication, teamwork and leadership. VaeV reports more than 10 years of experience and over 500 people trained, with a 4.9-star Google review rating.

For businesses, VaeV runs 90-minute team-building sessions led by coaches Laura and Theo. Sessions combine discussion and physical activities, are tailored to the group’s goals, and include all necessary equipment. Prices start at €595 per session. Individuals can join weekly Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) sword-fighting classes on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, Viking sword-fighting on Sunday evenings, or youth training on Tuesday evenings. The brand also lists personal training, technical masterclasses and coaching. Its AD(H)D empowerment session combines coaching with sword-fighting to support self-confidence, boundary-setting, body awareness and mental calm. VaeV offers free trial lessons and invites prospective clients to enquire about availability.
