Virginia Gators Swim

Virginia Gators is a year-round competitive swimming team based in Roanoke, Virginia, serving young swimmers ages 5 to 18. As a USA Swimming team, it welcomes children of all abilities and provides instruction, training, and opportunities to participate in both recreational and competitive swimming. The program is organized into age-based groups, with options for swimmers from 6 and under through 17–18 and senior levels. Team information includes practice schedules, group descriptions, fees, registration, and records for short-course and long-course swimming.

Virginia Gators also offers swim lessons through Little Gator Swim School, providing a path for young swimmers to learn and develop their skills. Families can find resources such as a new swimmer manual, team conduct information, and Safe Sport guidance, while prospective officials can access information about becoming an official. The organization is supported by coaches, a board of directors, sponsors, and the Gator Aquatic Center, located at 1130 Overland Road in Roanoke. Its programs help young people build swimming skills and pursue competition at a range of levels.
