About Valdebeauty.eth
Valdebeauty. eth is a brand that is dedicated to supporting Latinx beauty entrepreneurs who are underrepresented in the beauty industry. As part of the Valdé NFT Collective, their first initiative is the Latinx Beauty Entrepreneur Grant.
This grant is specifically earmarked to provide financial support to Latinx-owned businesses in the beauty and wellness space. Valdebeauty. eth believes that Latinx consumers deserve to see more beauty products that speak to their unique needs and understands their nuances.
They aim to solve these needs while making Latinx entrepreneurs feel seen and heard. The grant offers three Latinx beauty founders the opportunity to pitch their businesses to a panel of judges for a chance to win a $10,000 cash grant, PR, legal support, social media assistance, and guaranteed buyer meetings with Sephora, ULTA Beauty, and Thirteen Lune. To be eligible for the grant, applicants must be a majority Latinx-owned business that is incorporated and operating in the United States.
The business must be in the beauty/wellness space, with clean and/or sustainable products. DTC or limited distribution and availability to attend Pitch Day are also required. The selection process involves a comprehensive evaluation of factors such as brand mission, vision, impact, innovation, and business plan.
The finalists will have the opportunity to present their businesses to the judges, with the winner being announced on June 23rd, 2023. In addition to the cash grant, the grand prize winner will also receive consulting and resources worth $200,000+, including strategy and brand building services, public relations support, and marketing assistance. The judges for this competition include esteemed beauty industry professionals such as Margarita Arriagada, the Founder & CEO of Valdé Beauty, and Sharon Chuter, the CEO & Creative Director of UOMA Beauty.
Valdebeauty. eth aims to uplift Latinx beauty entrepreneurs and create a more diverse and inclusive beauty industry through their initiatives and support
