Vale Golf Centre

Vale Golf Centre is a driving range in Ruthin, Denbighshire, serving golfers in North Wales. Promoted as Ruthin’s premier driving range, the centre is open seven days a week from 9am to 9pm, giving visitors regular opportunities to practise. Range balls are available in three options: 25 for £4, 50 for £6.50, and 100 for £9.50; the listed 25-ball option is cash only.

The centre also offers golf lessons with resident PGA professional Jason Shufflebotham. He turned professional in 2013 after a successful amateur career representing Wales, and earned a golf scholarship to the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he captained the team and won on the NCAA Division I collegiate circuit. After moving into coaching and completing the PGA programme, he pursued further study of the golf swing and body mechanics. Jason coaches players of all abilities and has supported golfers competing in national, county, and club championships. He also introduces newcomers to golf through junior camps and programmes for men and women.
