Valerie Gras

Le Dragon qui rit is an arts and creative-learning studio in Grenoble, led by professional artist-author Valérie Gras. Located at 5 rue Gallice, near the Alliés tram stop, the studio offers drawing and painting classes and workshops for children, teenagers and adults. Participants can explore a range of visual-art techniques and materials, including pastels, charcoal, acrylics, oils, watercolours, modelling and sculpture. Creative leisure activities include mosaic, embroidery, card making and writing.

Courses are available through annual enrolment or tickets, with workshops, private lessons at home and art-themed birthday sessions also offered. Beyond the studio, Le Dragon qui rit provides activities for schools, community organisations and groups including older people, people with disabilities and young people. Its services also include corporate team-building and wellbeing workshops, scenic décor projects, and continuing professional training for people working in animation, primary education and the medico-social sector. The studio presents a gallery and artworks for sale, and invites enquiries about classes, institutional projects, training and painting commissions.
