ValhalBaneByg, also known as VBB, is a model railway group based in Amager, Copenhagen S, Denmark. It began with a shared interest in model trains between two neighbours and is focused on building and running railway layouts together. The group’s approach is deliberately hands-on and temporary: layouts are built to last for about three days, with the emphasis on track rather than scenery or buildings. In VBB’s words, the fun is in building and running trains, with plenty of track to explore.

The website introduces the group and shares information about its activities, projects, technical setup, meeting minutes and bylaws. It also features a “C geometry school,” offering material related to VBB’s C-geometry layout approach. ValhalBaneByg is a member of DMJU, the Danish model railway association, and states that it hopes to participate in DMJU exhibitions and events in the future. The group presents model railways as a collaborative hobby and a practical opportunity to experiment with track design and train operation.
