Valiant Academy

Valiant Academy is a martial arts school in Santa Ana, California, built around faith, community, and personal growth. Founded in 2023 by Jonathan Marroquin, the academy grew from Team Valiants, which he opened in 2019 to give local children a safe place to learn and develop. Today, Valiant Academy offers Brazilian jiu-jitsu, wrestling, and judo training, with programs for children and adults and an established competition team.

Training combines martial arts skills with Christian values and an emphasis on integrity, humility, compassion, respect, and perseverance. The academy aims to help students develop character, discipline, teamwork, and confidence alongside physical strength and self-defense abilities. Its close-knit, family-like environment encourages students to challenge and support one another, fostering camaraderie through healthy competition. Valiant Academy welcomes prospective students to try a free week of training and invites individuals and families to join its community. With a focus on growing together in strength and character, the school presents martial arts as a way to pursue a healthier lifestyle and a stronger sense of purpose.
