Valkyrie Judo Academy

Valkyrie Grappling Academy is a veteran-owned martial arts school serving North Las Vegas and the wider Las Vegas community. It offers Judo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes for children and adults, welcoming beginners as well as experienced grapplers. The academy’s approach combines technical instruction with respect, discipline, confidence, and personal growth in a supportive training environment.

Adult Judo classes develop throwing technique, balance, strength, and discipline. Adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes teach leverage, self-defense, fitness, and strategy, emphasizing skill over strength. Children can join Judo classes focused on coordination, focus, confidence, and respect, with an environment designed to support safe learning. The academy also highlights its kids’ Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu coaching and offers morning and evening Jiu-Jitsu training.

Led by experienced coaches, including competition-proven practitioners, Valkyrie supports students pursuing fitness, self-defense, competition, or growth on and off the mats. The team shares military and civilian service experience and aims to create a welcoming community for learners at every level. Prospective students can try a free class or claim a free week.
