Vallea Lumina

Vallea Lumina is an immersive nighttime attraction in Whistler, offering visitors a multimedia walk through an enchanted forest. Combining lighting effects, soundscapes and interactive storytelling, the experience brings local legends to life as guests follow clues and radio transmissions along an illuminated trail. Its narrative follows the traces of two long-ago hikers on a journey toward a hidden valley filled with imagined wonders.

The experience runs year-round after sunset, with seasonal courses designed around changing conditions. The winter trail, open from November to April, is about one kilometre long and typically takes 30 to 40 minutes. The summer course, open from May to October, covers about 1.5 kilometres and takes around 45 to 60 minutes. Guests can book tickets online, and a shuttle from Whistler Village to the Cougar Mountain basecamp is available for an additional fee with advance booking. Vallea Lumina operates in typical rain and snow, so visitors are advised to dress for the weather and wear suitable footwear.
