Valley Crisis Center

Valley Crisis Center is a program of the nonprofit Alliance for Community Transformations, serving victims and survivors of intimate partner abuse, sexual assault, and human trafficking, as well as their children. The center offers free, confidential support and encourages anyone unsure whether its services are appropriate to call its 24-hour crisis line for guidance.

Services include crisis response, counseling, support groups, legal help, emergency shelter, and referrals to community partners. The center’s advocates support people affected by abuse and assault, while its resources provide information about intimate partner violence, sexual assault, sexual assault response team exams, and human trafficking. It also shares guidance on recognizing trafficking indicators and supporting victims.

Based in Merced, California, Valley Crisis Center works to connect people with help and information. Community members can get involved through volunteering and outreach, explore job openings, donate, or contribute items from the organization’s wish list. The center provides its hotline around the clock, with a separate business office for general inquiries.
