Valley Design is an AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 certified, ITAR-registered precision materials processor with more than 50 years of experience. The company serves customers in research, technology, semiconductor, industrial, aerospace, and defense fields, supporting projects from prototypes to production runs.

Its services include precision lapping and polishing, dicing, wafering, back grinding, drilling, and 3-axis, 4-axis, simultaneous 5-axis, and 3+2 positional CNC machining. Valley Design works with a broad range of materials, including glass, fused silica, ceramics, sapphire, silicon, silicon carbide, and metals. Capabilities include ultra-thin processing, large-format 300 mm and 450 mm wafer services, process development, and technical consulting.

The company also manufactures and stocks wafers, substrates, discs, precision shims, spacers, submounts, flat optics, color glass filters, metal mirrors, and chucks. Products are available in standard and custom sizes, with selected finished components in stock for shipment.
