Valta ry

Valta ry is an association for students studying politics and communication at the University of Helsinki. Their main mission is to organize a variety of parties, excursions, cultural, and sports events for their members as a balance to lectures and independent studying. In addition to event planning, Valta ry also serves as an advocate for political and communication students, bridging the gap between faculty administration and students.

Membership is open to all undergraduate and graduate students studying politics and communication, as well as those majoring in political science and communication. The association is run by a ten-member board that is elected annually in December. They also welcome officers who play a key role in the association's activities.
