Van Iersel Compost

Van Iersel is a Dutch green-waste processor and producer of high-quality compost and other soil-improvement products. The company collects organic residual materials from public, private, and professional sources, then transforms them into useful products that support healthy, balanced soil. Its accepted materials include mixed garden and green waste, grass cuttings, ditch vegetation, leaves, and pruning waste.

Van Iersel serves both home gardeners and professional customers, including municipalities, landscapers, growers, and green-space businesses. Products are designed for varied uses in gardens and larger projects, such as borders, trees and hedges, vegetable gardens, lawns, paths, and soil raising. For professionals, the company also offers substrates and soil-balance analysis to help assess and improve growing conditions.

With four locations and equipment for projects of different sizes, Van Iersel provides product supply and advice on selecting materials for installation and future needs. Its approach centers on circular resource use: upgrading green residual streams into compost products and exploring ways to use resources, including the energy generated during processing, more sustainably.
