About VANEX Uganda
Vanex is the Association of Vanilla Exporters of Uganda Limited, a membership organization that was established in 2003 by vanilla buyers and exporters. Their aim is to create an enabling environment for sustainable vanilla production in Uganda, with the goal of making the country a reliable global source of high-quality natural vanilla. As a platform for its members, Vanex provides a space for discussion, lobbying, strategizing, and agreement on the production and processing of cured vanilla exports from Uganda.
They also work on increasing both the quantity and quality of these exports through the development and implementation of strategies. Vanex is involved in acquiring and disseminating knowledge of international market conditions, contacts, and standards for cured vanilla exports. In addition, Vanex promotes the image and brand identity of cured vanilla exports from Uganda as a high-quality product in world markets.
They conduct research and seek the input of qualified and knowledgeable individuals for the curing of vanilla. Vanex also works to establish partnerships and gain support from governmental bodies, non-governmental organizations, donors, industry associations, and private firms and individuals involved in the production, processing, and trade of high-quality vanilla. One of their key initiatives is the encouragement of high-yield and sustainable farming methods for vanilla.
Additionally, Vanex focuses on enhancing the security of farmers involved in vanilla production. Join Vanex and be a part of the effort to create a sustainable and thriving vanilla industry in Uganda
