About Van Gogh Village Museum
Van Gogh Village Nuenen introduces visitors to Vincent van Gogh’s life in Nuenen and the Brabant period that helped shape his work. At the interactive Van Gogh Village Museum, visitors of all ages can follow his journey towards his first masterpiece, The Potato Eaters, and explore the people, places and ideas connected with it. The museum presents permanent displays and changing exhibitions, including a scientific exploration of the painting, and offers Vincents Lichtlab, where visitors can experiment with light and colour through a blend of art and technology.
Children up to and including age 17 receive free museum admission, a youth audio tour and a discovery trail; Museumkaart holders also enter free. The organisation welcomes groups and schools, with free school visits and tailored options available. Beyond the museum, visitors can discover 24 Van Gogh-related locations around Nuenen on foot or by bicycle.
