Vanilla Weddings is a Portugal-based destination wedding planning business led by Maria Baptista and Afonso Palmeiro, who bring more than 25 years of shared experience to creating personal, carefully curated celebrations. The full-time planners work closely with each couple to shape a wedding around their story, style, and vision, drawing inspiration from Portugal’s coastlines, historic estates, and vineyards.

The company offers comprehensive planning for weddings, elopements, and other individual celebrations. Its services include finding venues and selecting vendors, managing budgets and payments, reviewing contracts, coordinating guest logistics, and providing creative direction. The team also develops the event’s visual design, including ceremony and reception styling, flowers, tablescapes, stationery, and lighting. Production services cover elements such as staging, marquees, sound, entertainment, and special effects. On the day, Vanilla Weddings coordinates vendors, schedules, setup, and event cues, and can oversee pre- and post-wedding gatherings.

With an emphasis on genuine connection and attentive execution, Vanilla Weddings aims to make destination celebrations feel seamless, distinctive, and enjoyable for couples and their guests.
