Christmas Olomouc is the brand behind Olomouc’s annual Christmas markets, held from 22 November to 24 December 2026 on the city’s historic Upper and Lower Squares. The event brings together festive traditions, local culture and family activities in the heart of the city. Visitors can browse wooden stalls offering crafts, handmade goods, decorations, gifts, food and the region’s well-known Christmas punch. A cultural programme features concerts, children’s performances, seasonal events and activities for different ages.

Highlights include a large Christmas tree, scenic viewing platforms, a historic carousel, a nativity scene and the Little Jesus workshop, where children can make candles and write letters to Jesus. The markets also offer a punch trail, practical visitor facilities and commemorative mugs. Three stalls support charitable organisations and community projects. On weekdays from 10 a.m. to noon, the Lower Square observes quieter “Hours of Togetherness,” with reduced lighting and no music, creating a more comfortable setting for visitors with autism.
