Van Vuure is a Dutch family-run retailer specializing in tobacco and convenience products, with roots in the industry dating back to 1960. Its “tobacco specialty store of the future” concept combines traditional products with information about smoke-free alternatives. The first store under this concept opened in Amsterdam in May 2021, and the business now operates locations across the Netherlands, alongside three Primera stores in Amsterdam.

Van Vuure’s stores offer tobacco, cigars, IQOS and Iluma devices, vapes and e-cigarettes, as well as lottery products. The cigar selection includes short- and long-filler cigars. Its stores are intended for adults aged 18 and over and operate in accordance with Dutch food and consumer product safety authority NVWA guidelines. Van Vuure also describes informing customers about smoke-free alternatives as part of its contribution to the goal of a smoke-free generation by 2040.

The company works with prospective store owners and existing tobacco retailers, offering purchasing arrangements, business guidance and at least three months of training.
