Van Zellers & Co is a family wine business rooted in Portugal’s Douro Valley, where the Van Zeller family has lived since 1620. Now represented by the 14th and 15th generations, the family describes itself as a carer of the Douro and a custodian of its winemaking legacy. Its wines are crafted by hand, nature and time, using grapes from vineyards that vary in location, altitude, age and field.
The portfolio includes Port wines such as Vintage Port, Very Old Tawny and the Rare Port Collection, alongside other wines including Kika Rosé. The company also introduced an ocean-aged 2020 Vintage Port in partnership with Zouri Shoes. Its approach draws on traditional Douro grape varieties and the diversity of the region’s vineyards.
Van Zellers & Co aims to make wines that accompany memorable occasions and create lasting memories. The brand shares its family history, vineyard stories and winemaking insights through its journal, and invites visitors to book an experience. Its website also helps customers discover wines and locate retailers.
