Varde Bueskyttelaug

Varde Bueskyttelaug is an archery club in Varde, Denmark, welcoming beginners and experienced archers of all ages. With more than 70 members aged from 6 to 75, the club brings people together for archery as both a competitive sport and a recreational activity. Members can practise with different bow styles, including barebow, compound, longbow and recurve, and benefit from guidance from experienced club members.

The club holds open training sessions on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, using indoor or outdoor ranges depending on the weather. Newcomers can try archery for a free month and borrow bows, arrows and other equipment while exploring the sport. The club recommends that children begin training from age six, and offers child-friendly instruction focused on basic technique, safety and cooperation in a supportive setting.

Beyond regular training, Varde Bueskyttelaug arranges tailored archery experiences for occasions such as bachelor parties, company events and team-building activities. The club invites prospective members and event organisers to get in touch to learn more.
