Varnamoflygklubbny

Värnamo Flygklubb is an aviation club based at Hagshult Airport, serving people interested in flying and aviation in the Värnamo area. The club operates a flying school with three instructors and typically trains around 10 to 20 students each year. Courses include LAPL and PPL pilot licences, night rating (NR), competency-based instrument rating (CBIR), and flight instructor (FI) training. Its flight instructor course is scheduled to begin on January 16–17, 2027, and comprises 125 hours of theory and 30 hours of flying. Admission includes assessments of theoretical knowledge and practical flying proficiency, along with applicable EASA eligibility requirements.

For those considering a pilot licence, the club also offers introductory flights in one of its aircraft alongside an instructor. At the airport, members can access aircraft for private flying: two belong to the club, while others are privately owned. During the summer months, club pilots also support fire surveillance from the air. Värnamo Flygklubb welcomes aspiring pilots and aviation enthusiasts to explore its training and flying opportunities.
