Varruset

Vårruset is Sweden’s largest touring fitness event for women, bringing movement, encouragement and community to participants in cities across the country. The event visits 19 locations over five weeks, offering a choice of 2.5-kilometre or 5-kilometre routes that participants can run, jog or walk. The 5-kilometre course is officially measured. Each finisher receives a medal and a finish-line bag, while entertainment and enthusiastic support help create an uplifting atmosphere along the route and at the event area. Teams of five who register are also treated to a picnic after finishing.

Vårruset is designed for shared participation, whether joining with friends, colleagues or a larger group. Companies wishing to register more than 25 people can find information through the event’s corporate page. The tour is an event by Marathongruppen, organised with athletics clubs Hässelby SK and Spårvägens FK and local sports clubs around Sweden. Any surplus from the event goes back to sport.
