Vasilis Pappas

Rego is a travel technology platform founded by Vasilis Pappas, built to make the complicated process of planning and booking travel feel more straightforward and trustworthy. Based in Athens, Greece, the company focuses on connecting travelers with options through transparent pricing, flexible discovery, and a considered booking experience. Its platform supports travel searches and bookings across more than 150 airlines and 1.5 million accommodations.

Rego’s work addresses challenges behind the scenes, including fragmented suppliers, changing prices, and the many exceptions that can arise during a booking. Its product approach spans platform architecture, booking flows from search through confirmation, and execution across product, engineering, and operations. The aim is to create systems that can scale with the business, build traveler confidence, and reduce friction throughout the journey.

Pappas also previously designed and built the technical foundation for i-ferry, a platform serving travel across the Greek islands that handled peak summer demand without downtime. Rego combines this practical travel technology experience with a focus on reliable systems and customer-friendly products.
