De Vastelastenbond

Vastelastenbond is a Dutch consumer organization dedicated to reducing the fixed costs of households since its establishment in 2004. Founded by Dirk-Jan Wolfert and Dennis van Druten, it emerged amidst the liberalization of the Dutch energy market, serving as the first independent collective specifically focused on managing fixed expenses for consumers. With a mission to protect households from excessive charges, Vastelastenbond helps clients navigate the often complicated landscape of energy tariffs, insurance policies, and mortgage options.

By conducting thorough research and negotiations with providers, the organization ensures its members receive the best deals tailored to their individual needs. Their expertise spans various essential services, including energy, insurance, internet, and telecommunication, providing a one-stop solution to achieve substantial savings and peace of mind. With over 150,000 households relying on their services, Vastelastenbond is committed to personalized attention and is always ready to assist customers with inquiries, ensuring transparency and reliability in their offerings. Their focus on independence allows them to prioritize the interests of their members above all else.
