Veteran Aid Ukraine (VAU) is a dedicated organization founded by former military personnel in response to the humanitarian crisis following Russia's invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. Recognizing the urgent needs of the Ukrainian army and civilians, VAU mobilizes resources to deliver essential equipment and support. Initially starting with crisis aid, the organization has expanded its efforts to collect and send military gear, medical supplies, and humanitarian assistance directly to where it is most needed.

The focus of VAU is particularly on drones, which play a critical role in reconnaissance and enhancing the operational capabilities of Ukrainian forces. Their ongoing communication with partners in Ukraine ensures that the aid delivered is both timely and effective, with contributions coming from individual donors, businesses, and veterans across nations. By working closely with local organizations and facilitating on-the-ground deliveries, VAU ensures that those in need receive vital support to continue their fight for freedom and safety in their homeland.
