Viac ako učenie is a Slovak civic association dedicated to making education engaging and popularizing the natural sciences. Based in Nitra, it creates learning opportunities for children, schools, and wider audiences through hands-on activities, events, and educational programs. Its offerings include science-focused camps, which have been running since 2005 and have welcomed returning participants, some of whom later became camp animators.

The association also organizes a Physics Show for schools during the pre-Christmas season, presenting physics through demonstrations and entertainment, and a physics advent calendar featuring 24 seasonal surprises. Its VEDET program brings a science day to kindergartens and the first stage of primary schools, including activities connected with International Children’s Day. Viac ako učenie also participates in organizing conferences, congresses, lectures, and workshops focused on natural sciences.

Through these varied programs, the association supports curiosity and learning beyond the classroom, offering children and educators accessible ways to explore scientific ideas. Its activities range from camps and school events to broader professional and public gatherings
