The Virginia Beach Billfish Tournament is an annual sportfishing event organized by the Virginia Beach Billfish Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting youth and marine-related charities. Celebrating its 23rd anniversary in 2026, the tournament is scheduled for August 19–22 in Virginia Beach and is presented by Towne Insurance and Towne Bank. It brings together fishing teams, captains, anglers, sponsors, and supporters for several days of competition, with billfish release scoring and gamefish divisions for species including dolphin, tuna, and wahoo.

The organization provides tournament entry and participation forms, rules, schedules, standings, scorecards, and information about the fleet and entry options. It also shares results, tournament recaps, photographs, historical statistics, and Hall of Fame information. Beyond the competition, the foundation connects participants with charitable giving through donation opportunities and community-focused causes.

Businesses can explore sponsorship opportunities, while attendees and teams can find event details, marina information, and updates through the tournament’s website and social channels. The event’s 2026 edition reported 61 teams and $943,450 in cash awards
