Tubidy is a browser-based music and video discovery service with a strong focus on South African music. It lets users search for songs and videos, play available results, and choose MP3 audio or MP4 video files where those formats are offered. The site features new releases and popular searches, alongside music organized by genres and moods, including Amapiano and other African styles.

Users can search by artist, song title, or genre, then compare listings by version, duration, and format to find a preferred recording. Tubidy promotes convenient access to tracks and videos, including options for offline use, and its pages highlight the value of checking file sizes when managing mobile data and device storage. Results and available formats may vary by source.

Tubidy also notes that a file being available at no charge does not necessarily mean it is authorized for downloading or sharing, so users should check permissions before saving or distributing media
