About September 11th Victim Compensation Fund
The September 11th Victim Compensation Fund (VCF) was established to provide compensation to individuals affected by the terrorist-related airplane crashes on September 11, 2001. The fund extends support to those who suffered physical harm or lost their lives during the tragic event. It covers individuals involved in construction, clean-up, and debris removal, as well as residents, workers, or students in the NYC exposure zone.
Initially operational from 2001-2004, the VCF was reactivated under the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act of 2010 to assist victims until October 2016. Subsequent reauthorizations have extended the fund's availability until October 1, 2090, ensuring sufficient time and resources to process claims.
For more information or to submit a claim, contact the VCF helpline at 1-855-885-1555 or visit their website. Stay connected with the VCF for updates and support during this process.
