With a mission to provide the highest quality volleyball experience, VCN is dedicated to equipping athletes for their future by fostering an environment of accountability and integrity. Their community of coaches empowers athletes to take ownership of their journey and create a culture built on trust.

VCN strives for excellence on and off the court, guided by their core values of community, accountability, integrity, excellence, trust, and empowerment. Founded in 2010 by former Husker National Champion and professional volleyball player, Maggie Griffin, VCNebraska was created to meet the need for a club structure in Lincoln that focused on specific training techniques and a higher standard of coaching. With extensive experience playing and coaching volleyball around the world, Maggie brings a wealth of knowledge to the club.

VCN believes in teaching fundamental volleyball skills at a young age in an environment that encourages discipline, success, and enjoyment. They aim to develop a sense of community among players, parents, and coaches, and their practice structure reflects this by having multiple teams practice together. At VCNebraska, they find coaches who align with their core values and serve as role models to their players.

They hold tryouts to enlist players who will fill positions within the teams. While their main focus is teaching and training volleyball, VCN also aims to develop the total person. They believe that the skills and struggles of any sport can help in character development and teach important life lessons.
