VDDT Architectes is an architecture practice based in Lille, France, founded in 2001 by Patrick Vanderdoodt and Laurence Dutrieux. Today, a new team of partners continues the agency’s work and longstanding commitment to thoughtful, use-focused design. VDDT approaches each project as a response to the specific character of a place, its users, constraints and aspirations, developing solutions tailored to their context.
The practice works across commerce, housing, industry and commercial buildings. Its projects include the restructuring of an industrial hall at Fives Cail in Lille, logistics buildings in Roubaix, a commercial hall in Tourcoing, a 16-home residential building in Marcq-en-Barœul and the thermal renovation of 46 homes in Mons-en-Barœul. Other listed work includes commercial units, mixed-use development and projects at E-Valley and Delta 3.
VDDT’s approach balances practical requirements with the quality of everyday use and the relationship between buildings and their surroundings. The agency is located at 26 rue des Ponts de Comines, Lille, and can be contacted by phone or email.
