VDP

Večeri dalmatinske pisme (VDP) is a celebrated annual festival held in Kaštel Kambelovac, Croatia, dedicated to honoring and promoting traditional Dalmatian music. Renowned for its vibrant atmosphere, the event invites various klapas (traditional vocal groups) to showcase their musical talents. Each year, local and regional artists compete for prestigious awards, including the audience's choice awards and expert jury accolades, recognizing excellence in performances that embody the essence of Dalmatian heritage.

VDP facilitates a welcoming platform for both emerging and established artists, with special categories for song submissions reflecting the Mediterranean's cultural richness. Besides the festival's competitive aspect, it features live performances, workshops, and engaging community activities aimed at preserving and revitalizing the unique musical traditions of Dalmatia.

For music enthusiasts, VDP offers opportunities to purchase tickets and festival memorabilia, amplifying the cultural experience and bringing together fans of traditional music. The festival reflects not only a celebration of music but a commitment to community and tradition within the picturesque backdrop of Dalmatia.
