Der Verband der Unternehmerinnen in Deutschland e. V. (VdU) vertritt seit 1954 als Wirtschaftsverband branchenübergreifend die Interessen von Unternehmerinnen in Politik und Gesellschaft. In besonderem Maße zeichnet uns die Verbindung von unternehmerischer Interessenvertretung und gleichstellungspolitischer Lobby aus. Wir setzen uns ein für verlässliche und zeitgemäße politische Rahmenbedingungen für Unternehmen, die Stärkung weiblichen Unternehmertums, die Förderung von Frauen in Führungspositionen und für bessere Bedingungen für Frauen in der Wirtschaft. Wir vertreten die politischen Belange von rund 1,2 Millionen selbstständigen Frauen aller Branchen und Unternehmensgrößen.
