**Brand Description: VE Day 80**
VE Day 80 commemorates the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day, uniting communities across the UK and beyond in a shared celebration of peace and remembrance. On May 8, 2025, this historic event honors the sacrifices made during World War II while reaffirming our commitment to peace and unity. The brand invites everyone to participate in a series of commemorative activities, including street parties, beacon lighting ceremonies, and musical tributes.
Key highlights include the VE Day Proclamation by Town Criers at 9 AM, the unique tune "Celebratum" played by pipers atop the UK’s highest peaks, and a national bell-ringing event at 6:30 PM. The day culminates at 9:30 PM with thousands of beacons shining throughout the nation, symbolizing the "light of peace" emerging from past darkness.
VE Day 80 is not just an event; it is a call to honor the past while celebrating a future filled with hope, love, and unity, encouraging participation through the hashtag #VEHAPPY.
