About Vegan für Hunde
Vegan für Hunde is a specialist canine nutrition consultancy founded by Andrea Kleist, focused on planning scientifically informed, nutritionally complete plant-based diets. It supports owners of healthy dogs as well as dogs with digestive difficulties, allergies, skin problems, food intolerances and other nutrition-related concerns. Its services include VeganFit, for healthy dogs, and VeganPower, for dogs needing a tailored strategy to address health issues.
Advice is based on an individual assessment of each dog’s nutritional needs and is designed to be practical, flexible and sustainable in everyday life. Depending on the dog and the owner’s goals, recommendations may be vegan, vegetarian or low-meat rather than following a fixed approach. Plans can account for life stage, activity level and health, and may include recipes, clear feeding instructions and a modular system for exchanging ingredients.
The consultancy also addresses nutrition for puppies and young dogs, whose requirements change as they grow. Alongside its consultations, Vegan für Hunde offers a shop, informational articles, success stories and a book published by Kynos
