Vege Runners

Vege Runners is a Polish running community and association bringing together people who share a passion for sport and plant-based living. Celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2025, the group promotes running, vegetarian and vegan values, and active community life through events, projects, and regular updates on its website.

Its activities include running competitions and group events, such as the Vege Runners 5-kilometre championships held at parkrun, as well as the Jarski Bieg na Zdrowie. The association also works with partners to organize outdoor activities beyond running. Recent projects in Warsaw have invited participants to explore the Vistula by kayak and take part in a multisport adventure combining cycling, running, and paddling.

Vege Runners shares news, training and community content, and publishes Ultra Marchewa, an independent, irregular zine associated with the group. Its website also features a shop and information about projects, partners, and events. Through sport, creative publishing, and inclusive gatherings, Vege Runners connects runners and supporters around an active, plant-conscious lifestyle.
