About Hrvatski veterinarski institut
Hrvatski veterinarski institut (Croatian Veterinary Institute) is a leading scientific research, diagnostic, and analytical institute in the Republic of Croatia. Established in 1933, it has become a public institution and is comprised of several branches throughout the country. The institute's main focus is on the diagnosis of infectious and parasitic animal diseases, as well as the analysis of food of animal origin and animal feed.
They also conduct scientific research activities and control veterinary medicinal products. The institute has undergone a complete reconstruction, reorganization, and modernization, with state-of-the-art laboratory equipment. It is staffed by over 250 professionals, including more than 50 PhD holders, and all laboratories are accredited by the Croatian Accreditation Agency.
