Hrvatski veterinarski institut (Croatian Veterinary Institute) is a leading scientific research, diagnostic, and analytical institute in the Republic of Croatia. Established in 1933, it has become a public institution and is comprised of several branches throughout the country. The institute's main focus is on the diagnosis of infectious and parasitic animal diseases, as well as the analysis of food of animal origin and animal feed.

The institute has undergone a complete reconstruction, reorganization, and modernization, with state-of-the-art laboratory equipment.
