VelAir Escola de Aviação Civil

VelAir is a civil aviation school based in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, dedicated to training pilots for the demands of aviation. Its programs range from foundational instruction to advanced qualifications, supporting students at different stages of their flying careers. Training options include Private Pilot, Commercial Pilot, Flight Instructor (INVA), Instrument Flight Rules (IFR), and Multiengine courses. Private Pilot training prepares students to command aircraft on non-revenue flights, while the Commercial Pilot program is designed for those seeking to work in aviation. Further courses develop skills in flight instruction, instrument navigation, and operating aircraft with more than one engine.

The school emphasizes technical rigor, experienced instructors, flight safety, and high-quality teaching. VelAir says its fleet is modern and regularly maintained, and it offers flights seven days a week. Its mission is to prepare highly qualified professionals for the civil aviation market, with a focus on operational safety, ethical conduct, and respect. Located in Belo Horizonte’s Pampulha area, VelAir presents flight training as a practical path for turning an interest in aviation into professional development.
