About Veli
Veli is a Kassel-based provider of smart home emergency support, helping people live more safely and independently in their own homes. Its service uses existing electricity and water meters to analyze household consumption in real time and learn typical patterns. Veli’s AI can identify unusual activity or consumption that may indicate a fall, another emergency, or a household issue such as a water leak. It then automatically alerts designated contacts, including relatives, care staff, building managers, or an emergency call service, so assistance can be arranged when needed.
Unlike traditional emergency systems, Veli does not require residents to press a button, change their routines, install cameras or motion detectors, or make structural alterations. The solution is designed for private households as well as service-supported and assisted-living settings and housing providers. Veli offers tailored consultations, support in assessing care needs, an introduction to its system and dashboard, and integration with existing workflows.
