Velibra

Developed by GAIA AG with an interdisciplinary team of medical doctors, psychologists, and psychotherapists, its content was created in collaboration with people with lived experience. The CE-marked medical device is designed to support treatment of common anxiety disorders and can be used independently, alongside psychotherapy, or while waiting for therapy.

The program offers six interactive modules with virtual conversations, practical exercises, audio content, and psychological guidance. Topics include understanding anxiety, recognizing and stepping back from distressing thought patterns, reducing avoidance through exposure exercises, and learning mindfulness and relaxation techniques. Users can track their mood and symptoms, access materials at their own pace, and receive optional reminders.

velibra is available through a prescription service. German statutory health insurance covers the full cost when users provide a qualifying prescription; private insurance may also cover it. People can also purchase access themselves.
